Ooops, there gona be here soon:(

today, what i was supposed to be doing and what i got done were two totaly different things.

what i was supposed to be doing-
cleaning and getting ready for people to come round and have drinks before we go out for my friend Kylies farewell dinner

What i got done-
*cleaned my fish tank
*sorted out what clothes i still want and what is going to opp shops
*painted this super cool K and drew leaves etc all over it
*took pictures or my recently made pin cussion (its also supposed to be a K but it didnt turn out fantasticly) mum gave me a great idea for this, she sugested i cut out a piece to go in the base out of ice cream container lid so that pins couldnt poke through and it worked realy well.
and wrapped kylies going away present (i wrapped it in fabric and
used staples to hold it together so fingers crossed she can get into it without injuring herself!)oh and of course spent way too much money on ebay. next week is going to be a great, parcel filled week! look forward to that

the best weekend of my life (1 of many!)

a lot has happend since my last post, unfortunately most of it forgotten, thus the reason i need to blog more often! last weekend was quite possibly the best long weekend of my life (and probbably the most expensive lol but worth every cent and more)

on thursday night me and dad went to Jack Johnson concert. i love the way good music opens up your eyes, ears and heart ready to notice great love, hapiness and inspiration in life that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. although i was close enough to get fantastic photo, youl have to imagine the fabulousness i saw, as i forgot my camera :( and am still kicking myself right to this very second

friday morning we left for queensland, me, aj, kane and his friend cain (i like to refer to them as "the kains!")

the first day was a bit of a write-off, i got really sick, so sick that i wished id stayed behind in adelaide.to me it was a blur of vomitting, sleeping and getting dragged in and out of taxis. i slept in the office of some of aj and kanes friends buisiness until aj found me some kind of miracle drug from the chemist to settle my stomache. yay, aj, i am forever in your dept!!! by that night i was running around at dreamword, i even made it on two rides. i absolutely loved the motorbike rollercoaster even though i cant remember what it was called. the boys went on to a night on the town but me and retired early to get some rest

day 2 was lots of shopping, exploring, being happy to be in queensland with its sunny warm perfect weather and mass surf shop sales! that night we went on party cruise boat which was lots of fun, and checked out a few clubs afterwards.

Sunday was wet n wild day, the day i had most been looking forward to. it was soooooo much fun, i would highly recomend it!! the best parts for me were the cyclone, the one were we could all go on at once (ill later put up pics so you know what im on about) and a pool where your supposed to relax and float around on tubes but instead we were having an absolute ball spinning eachother around, bumping into eachother, tipping eachother off rings etc. it was so great i declared i wanted to live there! which i had also decided of the party cruise the night before:) That night the boys tried to teach me to gamble at the casino. me and aj have started a "we hate casinos and pokies" club, anyone want to join? lol:)

monday, sadly our last day but happily the day we first saw the beach. I was so happy to go into surfers paradise, see the beach and the familiar places from last years trip. we had lots of fun splashing around, looking around and spending a few last minute dollars before heading home. the taxi ride to the airport was so bitter sweet. such a beautiful view out the window, jack johnson on the radio, feeling so comfortable and happy with the people who had become like my little family for the weekend, seeing little glimpses of the beach out the window and knowing there was so many things we hadnt had time to do yet. a weekend was no where near enough, i cant wait for next time.
