sunday-feast-healthy-snack***(before the blog)

Sunday feast has become a bit of a family tradition of ours
It began when Anneke got her first job. The two of us would go to the shop most sundays and she would buy us whatever foods our hearts desired. At the start it was usualy unhealthy treat foods that we never had during the week. We would either go home and hang out, or lay in the grass at the park and enjoy our sunday feast.
It was something i looked forward to all week, treats and spending time with my big sister. It was always a lot of fun.
A few years later, weve had sunday feasts on all days of the week (always still called sunday feast incase you were wondering:) , with friends and family, in queensland, in far away parks, near annekes beautiful beach. Sunday feasts make me so happy:) I think the new tradition should be to take pictures of every single sunday feast we have from now on!

Heres a family sunday feast from a while ago. Oranges from our tree in Kadina (the biggest and the best ever!)

Orange juice and jats and cheese

dandilions (in case we needed to tell the time)

melrose***(before the blog)

This was a realy fun camping trip, we drove to melrose and camped at a caravan park'ish' place ('caravan park' term used loosely, it was best of both worlds, there was a toilet and showers but apart from that it was just us and the trees in the middle of no-where)
I remember tin spaghetti, wearing lots of layers because it was freezing, a rickety wooden rope bridge across a river and going on a big metal see-saw together at a beautiful old playground

Walking, walking up mount remarkable
Once we got near the top we were walking through clouds, it was breathtakingly beautiful, magical, spiritual

Heres dad on the see saw. You can see from his face that it was a lot of fun

sing your heart out***(before the blog)

Aj, i love these photos of us being silly at the Mount Barker house. They remind me of so many mornings getting ready for school back in the day! You are so much fun:)

I don't remember what song we were singing and listening to but it must have been good! We always had a favourite together that we'd turn up loud and sing and dance to at any chance we got

what lil means to me***(before the blog)

(written by my cousin lil in my journal on my17th birthday)2.6.05-

What Karen means to me...
everything!

(written by me)
what lil means to me... everything x100000

No matter what or how i feel in life, when im with lil she has a way of keeping me occupied all the time, distracting me from any worries or sadness and helping me feel happy, care free, bohemian. We have an awesome time together doing everything because we'll do anything for eachother so few ideas go rejected!

When im with her i feel happy, confident, content being myself and i value myself as much as i value lil! She makes me feel like where the most important, coolest, funnest people in the world, which together we are. I feel sorry for anyone who doesnt have a lil in their lives.

This is because i know i wouldnt want to be if i didnt have her to lift me up when i need it. I wish she was here right now.
