our home away from home:)me and dad took a few days away to enjoy our beautiful earth. what better place than marion bay. it was beautiful weather, we enjoyed spending lots of time at the beach. my favourite spot was a little rocky cave i found on a morning walk. i could dangle my feet in the water, watch all the action of the beach and be in the shade all at once all at the same time!!
this is me cooking ravioli at our camp site. my second favourite camping thing is eating camping food. doesnt everthing taste better cooked on a tiny stove?
while i was away i had my first attempt at needle felting (and i only stabbed myself twice:( this is marion the mermaid down at the beach
we found a realy cool fishing spot not far from the town. quite a walk down a cliff lugging rods etc. but well worth it in the end. fishing was all very fun until we actualy had to save the poor little fishes from our hooks. it was a bit sad at first but it was lots of fun being down in the water. me in my undies because a wave got me good within 5minutes of being down there!

wow - sounds fantastic. looks like you had a fabulous time. i agree too that camping food tastes so much better. so does coffee. mmmmmm

Hi Karen, sounds like you guys had a lovely relaxing time. That van looks nifty, a bed nice and high off the ground which is handy. I particularly liked the sunset photo of the fishing spot. See you in the new year!!

:( i want to go camping havnt been for years. not since that time near the river with you and stewie and nik...and that time wasnt very good. would have been much more fun on our own lol. me and kane were going to buy a tent we saw in a catalogue a few weeks ago but when we went to the store they didnt have it and were not interested in helping us get it. i was very disappointed. maybe one day we'll find another good one on sale. hopefully we'll get the boat fixed first and go boat camping, that would be awesome!!! (except im really not keen on fishing) oh well, still be great :)
ReplyDeletep.s. i also looooovvvvveeee cooking on camping stoves. best food in the world coz your always so tired and hungry after a long day of walking and exploring and thats when food tastes so good.
