heres my new camera. after much internet research i decided to get a canon eos 450d. i already had my heart set on this camera but was advised to hold some different cameras to see what felt comfortable in my hands before making up my mind. once i had this one in my hands i knew this was the one for me! i absolutely love it. i coverd the strap in some of the green paisley fabric i have for my car picnic quilt.
here are some photos i have taken so far. ive been playing with different settings but so far im most comfortable concentrating on focus and letting the camera do the rest. heres my little man model mishka

great photos karen. so glad you managed to get a camera. i have to say, i've always been pleased with my canons.

ReplyDeleteand the camera looks great. i still prefer the SLR - there is just so much history behind it (even if they are now made in digital form), and i love being able to manipulate the depth of field and focus.
that, and the polaroid. you just can't beat the presentation of a polaroid, or the magical moments waiting to see what you actually took a picture of, because you never can tell with those things!
