well, here is the second loaf (because of course the first loaf dissapeared before i could take the photo because it was sooo good)
i can see i will definately be making lots of this. i recently read a whole book on bread making. while this sounds like a bit of overkill just to make a loaf of bread, i found it realy helpful. it had all the little bits and pieces that recipes just presume you already know (um no!)
that is beautiful bread and I imagine it tasted just as good as it looks!

It looks yummy Karen - and I agree with you about reading the books - you always find out so much information and you are better prepared when you actually start to bake. It's amazing how much you take in when you are reading!
ReplyDeleteWe are really in to making cold rolls at the moment -have you ever tried them? They are absolutely fabulous for summer and so very, very simple to make :)
