There are a few things to change but she doesn't need to come back I can just email her photos. It wont be long until I'm approved and getting a decent amount of money for having the children again.
I feel like a ton of bricks have been lifted off my shoulders as I'd been so worried that id have someone really picky who would find all sorts of things I hadn't thought of
Today I feel so light fresh and relaxed, i can fully take in and enjoy simple moments without my mind being taken over with 'what else do i need to do before approval visit"
This morning was such a simple and enjoyable one. I don't think there was a single moment that we were looking for something to do. It started off that I decided to move our logs over to a tree stump because I thought it would be fun for the children to jump off (which it was as is evident in the first photo) After a few jumps Cameron knocked off some bark with his shoe and discovered a treasure trove of snails. He and the others carefully placed them on the tree stump and watched them in awe for a long time as the snails slid along.
A little later it was time to feed the chickens so the children
Another fruit picnic at our outdoor table and it was just about nap time. I'm so loving these days in our new garden.

Not often that I am the first who comments.wonderful that you will get the approval your dad and I talked about it I said some prayers because I think it is wonderful that you look after children ,children need good love and care.Lovely photos the boy jumping especially.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, that is great news. IT must be an enormous relief.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Karen! You do provide such a warm and inviting space for those children.. I'm a little jealous I don't get to spend time there. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHooray! So glad to hear. That's terrific news :)
ReplyDeleteThose visits are stressful. One year a woman who was not my regular review came and I got marked for not having my lic. showing. David had been painting and taken it off the wall. My regular lady is so nice. After this many years, she assumes I do everything wonderful and tries to just keep me up to date on new rules. I am so glad you are done, and can now focus on the little ones (our real job!).
ReplyDeleteyah! so happy all is well. i think that its great too, that you look after children.
ReplyDeletewe got our official certification for homeschooling approved today, i feel relieved too! now for the home visit ... :/ xx

ReplyDeleteI love that picture of the children with the snail shells! Congratulations on your positive visit!
ReplyDeleteGreat news! Happy everything went smoothly for you. Our boys love feeding little bits to our chickens and guinea pigs. We did have a lovely bunny, but he died. Looking forward to getting a few more bunnies. We are hoping to start a farm and forest program here at our house by next summer. The children in your care are a lucky bunch. I know you put alot of thought and care into it all! Blessings on your new start.
ReplyDeletemy kids would be jumping off that stump all day! congrats on the daycare!
ReplyDeleteI'm jumping for joy with you Karen! How wonderful to be back to what you do best without the worries... :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
Your nature table figures are so sweet... and I love the photo of the children weeding... I mean gathering snacks for the chickens... My mother had a home-daycare preschool for many years. Weeding the garden was a favorite activity... the garden at my parent's house had never been so well tended!
