For Christmas I made my dad some alpaca socks. They're of course well and truly finished by now but in the business of last minute gift wrapping I forgot to take a picture
I ended up making gifts of soap, lip balms, skin creams, pin cushions and beeswax candles and.... I didn't take a picture of a single one. But here they are all wrapped up and looking cute under the tree.
I always put off wrapping gifts until the last minute but as soon as I begin putting them together I remember that I actually love wrapping!
I also made a sheep tree ornament as a swap with Steph
(and it was so cute that I had to make one for myself too:)
Ive also been working away on the rainbow stripes.
Its getting to the stage where I'm not really worried that ill get sick of it and not finish it but I am concerned about how many wool ends I will have to weave in at the end. That many coloured stripes = a ridiculous amount of wool ends!
I'm guessing Ill try to pass them off as tassels for a good while until I get really bored one day
I cant believe how big it is, I didn't intend for it to be quite so big, It fits on our double bed! It will be great in the winter

Honestly, I think they WORK as tassels! Beautiful!
I love the rainbow stripes!
I am impressed you are doing something so HUGE! Wow! And yes... I think they look good as tassels :)
Love your rainbow throw! I've been seeing so many throws on my blog hopping today! Makes me more determined to learn granny squares and get going on my throw!
The gifts look lovely all wrapped up and that little lamb is adorable!
My goodness -- you made a lot of great things for Christmas! I've been toying with the idea of making lip balm but just haven't. Your little lamb is so sweet, and I love the way you have the names of gift recipients stamped on the package -- so clever!
G

Your homemade gifts are so pretty! (And the wrapping :) I always do that...make gifts and wrap them before I take a picture. Love the rainbow blanket and the little sheep!
