apparently its not a good idea to use a varnished table to do iron on photo transfers. who knew (if you knew why didnt you tell me? ha ha:) i managed to soak some of the newspaper off the table but the rest will be reading material for now until forever.
at times like these i feel thankful for my love of second hand stuff. its not so hard to laugh at your mistakes when they happen to a $50 table. it just adds character, yes?
if you want to see some non bunged up craftiness, check out my mums new blog. she came over today and made a realy cool bag from my ''levin bag pattern", it turned out great!
oh and just after i moved from kadina i mentioned that my favourite twins in the world would possibly be starting care here in the future. id pretty much figured that it wasnt going to happen when i got a msg the other day. their mum had a job interview today and apparently it went well. i am over the moon excited, fingers crossed!!!

ReplyDeleteWas so good to see you Friday night, we really have to catch up more often. Your probable lucky you didnt come out last night coz we didnt get home till 6.30am and im sooooo tired. Had lots of fun tho and i even won some money! i never gamble but the boys were at this game called casino war (at like 5am) and i had $10 spare so i played to keep myself awake lol. just played till i had enough to get a $50 chip coz i thought that would be pretty cool... then realised they dont have $50 chips so i got 2 $25s- thats how much i know about the casino ha ha
But i was very excited coz i was $40 up and ive never won anything more than a couple of dollars on the Melbourne cup before.
So thats my gamble for the year, ive had my luck :)
