how to have fun after summer rain

Last week we had a rainy day, a little preview of the Autumn to come. The next day it was back to hot weather again.These little girlies love water so with this big puddle out the front of my house I knew we were in for a fun day. I dressed them in spare clothes (thankyou opp shop) and sent them out with a few containers from the recycling. They were well occupied until we had to go in for lunch and nap

 ps, this water looks a bit yuck, its just because of the tree we were under for shade, its leaves colour the water quite potently. Makes me want to have a go at using them for a wool dye
