ohhhh I love a twirly skirt!!
ReplyDeletemmmmmmmmm..........smoothies!!!
ReplyDeletelevin, your jam sounds oh so good. and easy, just apricots and sugar ey (and water presumably) even i could do that. consider it on my to do list!
ReplyDeletenope - no water - just apricots and sugar. you use 3/4 of the weight of the apricots in sugar (ie: if you have 2kg apricots you use 1.5 kg of sugar. cut and stone the apricots and leave them overnight with half the sugar sprinkled on. the next day you cook them over low heat until the fruit become soft. then you add the rest of the sugar, and boil for about 30 minutes, stirring lots, until it sets. to test if it's set, put a bit on a saucer and leave for a while. it should get a slight skin on it.
ReplyDeletemmmmmm it's really yummy. i sterilised my jars in the oven. go on, go and see bill and get some apricots.

ReplyDeleteKaren - you make warm weather sound half-way appealing! I'm sitting next to my bedrooom window relishing the cool breeze that's dancing across my shoulders, so thankful that it's cooled down after that 42 degree day on tuesday!
ReplyDeleteThe skirt looks so good! I got a new dress in the mail today - I have to take it in and up (it's a bit big on me), but i love it!!
