I finished these sweet little stripey baby pants a while ago
Oh I love stripes, and oh I love tiny feet!
Mishka wanted in on the action. He loves sleeping on any woolies that get left laying around
I've begun a little Korrigan cardi in quince & co chickadee. I love this birds egg colour so much I'm thinking I might make myself a sweater in it this winter. Perhaps not in 5ply though.
I've not done cables in a few years and found myself frustratingly un pulling a few times at the beginning. I don't so much mind re doing, its the casting on again that I hate. Am I the only one that loves knitting but hates casting on?
In case anyone's not seen my last post, i'm still looking for someone else who wants to do the 'Joyful Days With Toddlers and Preschoolers' tele-course with me.
It looks like its going to be a great course for anyone interested in early childhood Waldorf/Lifeways
It costs $240 but if you sign up with a friend you can both do it for $175
If you are interested let me know!

Oh your baby knits are fabulous! I love stripes too, but I just hate sewing ends in (probably as much as you hate casting on!). You are right, the blue is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour baby knits are both lovely. You would not think that grey and white would be so great, but it is, and I love the colour and name chickadee.
ReplyDeleteI love the colour choice for your baby pants. I always think babies (and kids) look so sweet in grey. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSince I am just learning to knit your cables really impress me! I hope to improve my skills to that point this year. And you wee baby pants are so sweet! I love the soft colors.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the knits - I am just getting the hang of the knit stitch and hope to move on to stripes and cables sometime this year.
ReplyDeleteI, alas, am past the toddler stage, sigh, or I would love to take that most interesting-looking class with you. Good luck with it!

Cute! Feet and stripes, you are so talented! My cat has started trying to spray on the baby things so theres nothing lying around here lol. I tried cables once, briefly. It was highly traumatic and very messy.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely knits. The blue colour is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI dislike casting on too, not as much as I dislike weaving in ends. I especially dislike casting on more than once because something wasn't working or I made a mistake. Your sweater looks nice.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I absolutely LOVE those striped baby pants!!! How absolutely adorable!!! Great job and I'm keeping the idea in mind for future baby gifts!!!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, those wee little baby pants are so sweet.
ReplyDeletesuch pretty knits! those baby pants are precious. perhaps if you tried a different cast on? that might help.
